Flat wire is the quiet workhorse of shaped wire — 10×2 mm is a common section for springs, terminals, clamps and decorative trim. The two flat faces make it sit flush and stack clean, which round or square stock simply will not do.
Ours is rolled from stainless strip, edge-conditioned so the corners are not sharp enough to cut a flipper or snag a coating. Width and thickness are held to ±0.02 mm so parts made from it come out the same coil to coil.
