Triangular Wire & Wedge Wire Applications

Where our wire actually ends up — oil screens, wedge wire screens and filter elements first, then mine screens, automotive seals, busbar and architectural profiles.

Industries we supply

Filtration and mining are where triangular wire and wedge wire do most of the work; the rest are shaped-wire applications we also serve.

Why the cross-section matters more than the material

Most buyers start by choosing a material, then look for a size. In practice the cross-section decides whether the part works: a V-profile keeps a screen slot open, a flat profile gives a sealing face, a square profile indexes in a connector, and a U-channel clips onto an edge.

That is why we ask for the drawing before quoting a size. The same 304 stainless wire behaves very differently as a triangle, a rectangle or a T-bar — and the drawing tools that make one are not always the tools that make another.

What we need to quote

  • Cross-section drawing, or a sample length
  • Material grade (304, 316L, 430, 6061, 6063, C1100 …)
  • Key dimensions and the tolerances that actually matter
  • Annual quantity and packing preference

Send these to our sales team and we will reply with a feasible size range, tooling position and lead time.
