Mining, Quarrying & Sieving — Shaped Wire & Profile Wire
Triangular and wedge wire is the working surface of mine sieve bends, vibrating screen panels and dewatering baskets.
In a vibrating screen the wire does two jobs at once: it holds the load and it defines the aperture. A triangular section gives a slot that opens up in the direction of flow, so particles pass through instead of wedging in the gap. That single geometric detail is what separates a screen that runs for months from one that blinds in a week.
We draw triangular wire and wedge wire in 304, 316L and 430 stainless steel, with the slot width held to the tolerance your panel maker needs. Wire is supplied straight, in coils, or cut to length for welding onto support rods.
Typical parts we supply wire for
- Vibrating screen panels and sieve bends
- Dewatering baskets and centrifuge screens
- Trommel and trommel-style screens
- Static wedge wire screens and side hill screens
- Coal and aggregate classification decks

What helps us quote quickly
- Send the panel drawing or the slot width you must hold — not just a wire diameter.
- Tell us the abrasive duty. Harder ore usually justifies 316L or a work-hardened surface.
- For dewatering baskets, the drum radius decides the maximum practical wire length.
