Automotive & Transport — Shaped Wire & Profile Wire
Shaped wire replaces machined or stamped parts where a continuous profile is lighter, cheaper and stronger.
A stamped part has a seam and a scrap rate. A drawn profile has neither. For seals, trim, seat frames, clip retainers and structural reinforcement, a shaped wire section can be fed straight into a roll-forming or insert-moulding line, which removes an entire machining step from the process.
We draw bright stainless, aluminium and copper profiles with the surface quality needed for visible trim and the dimensional repeatability needed for automated assembly. Long coils mean fewer changeovers on your line.
Typical parts we supply wire for
- Sealing and weatherstrip carriers
- Decorative and functional trim
- Seat frame and recliner components
- Clip, retainer and spring profiles
- Busbar and battery contact profiles

What helps us quote quickly
- Tell us the assembly method — insert moulding, crimping or welding changes the surface we recommend.
- If the part is visible, send a surface sample so we can match the finish.
- For long runs we can supply traverse-wound coils to reduce line stops.
