A triangular wire looks simple, but the geometry is what makes a screen work. Those three flat faces give a slot that is narrow at the top and wider underneath — particles drop through and rarely jam, which is exactly why triangular wire ends up in filtration and sieving instead of round stock.
We draw ours from 304 and 316L stainless, then bright-anneal so the surface stays clean and the section stays repeatable coil to coil. The 3.0 mm size is a common starting point for screen builders, and we hold the across-flat tolerance tight enough that wrapped screens seat without gaps.
